Desert View Highlands Appears in LA County’s Five-Year Housing and Community Development Plan

DESERT VIEW HIGHLANDS, Los Angeles County — The Los Angeles County Development Authority’s 2023–2028 Housing and Community Development Consolidated Plan identifies Desert View Highlands among communities covered by the county’s Urban County planning framework.

The strategy describes how federal and local housing and community development resources may be directed toward needs such as affordable housing, neighborhood improvements and assistance for households with low or moderate incomes.

Inclusion does not guarantee a grant

Being named in a planning document does not mean a particular road project, business or homeowner has received funding. Specific projects are selected under separate budgets, eligibility rules and public decision processes. Residents can review annual action plans, official project listings and community meetings to see how priorities are implemented.

People seeking rental or housing assistance should contact the appropriate county program for current eligibility and application status instead of interpreting the strategic plan as an open application.
